Research Interests
Joint replacement, reconstructive surgery of joints of the hip and knee, metastatic disease, pain management, biomaterials, especially in relation to alternative bearings for joint replacement.
Research Abstract
Dr. Skinner is conducting studies in two main areas of interests. One is pain management after orthopedic surgery and the other is the treatment of metastatic disease in bone with radioactive bone cement.
