Research Abstract
Professor Froman's current research and teaching interests include political economy, the sociology of knowledge, critical political theory, sexism, the language of politics, and nineteenth-and twentieth-century philosophy---particularly the works of Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Foucault, and Marx. The early part of his career was devoted to the study of U.S. Congress. He is the author of: Congressmen and Their Constituencies and The Congressional Process. Professor Froman teaches courses on counter-cultural subjects and is currently working on a multivolume work entitled Language and Power.
