Short Biography
Jon Smart is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician and faculty at the University of California Irvine. Having completed a fellowship in Multimedia Design and Education Technology at UC Irvine, he is focused on advancing medical student and resident education in order to ultimately improve patient care and patient education. Areas of particular interest are gamification, meta-learning, novel technology applications, as well as engaging speaking methods and slide design.
