Short Biography
Dr. Faisal Ahmed is a UCI Health radiation oncologist who specializes in the management of early and advanced breast cancer, head & neck malignancies, malignant and benign cancers of the central nervous system (brain/spine) as well as tumors of the skin.

He earned his medical degree at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. He then completed an internal medicine internship at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, followed by a residency in radiation oncology at Loma Linda University Hospital and Proton Therapy Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Before joining the University of California Irvine, He completed a clinical Fellowship in Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Ablative Radiation at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

In addition to his clinical activities, he actively publishes peer-reviewed articles on novel investigations and clinical reviews, along with presenting his research at local, regional, and national conferences. He is involved in physician-in-training education and is a regular lecturer to our medical students, resident physicians, and community practitioners.

Dedicated to personalized medicine as a cancer care physician, Dr. Ahmed seeks to optimize successful outcomes for his patients from all backgrounds while establishing a compassionate approach. It is his goal as an academic radiation oncologist to treat patients with the highest level of respect, compassion, and clinical excellence
