Short Biography
Dr. Broussard is a clinical anesthesiologist and provides care for patients receiving a variety of surgical procedures. She received her medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine. She underwent a year of Internal Medicine training at the University of Texas, Houston, followed by Anesthesia training at George Washington University in Washington DC.
Dr. Broussard is an avid educator. She serves on the Education Committee as Associate Program Director for the Anesthesiology Residency Program and is actively involved in resident and medical student education. She teaches simulation courses to practicing anesthesiologists and is involved in Anesthesiology board certification at the national level.
Dr. Broussard has an interest in global health. She facilitates resident and faculty experience in international anesthesia practice and regularly volunteers internationally.
