Candice Whealon earned her family nurse practitioner from UCI Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing in 2013. She has over 15 years of nursing experience and has been working in the emergency department as a nurse practitioner since 2014. She recently returned to her alma mater as an Assistant Clinical Professor and is actively pursuing her doctorate with a minor in nursing education from the University of Pittsburgh. Candice is the founding president of the UCI Alumni Association Sue and Bill Gross School of Nursing Chapter, and president elect of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners Orange County Chapter.
