Research Abstract
Dr. Jung In Park's research area has focused on health informatics, where she utilizes large datasets and advanced machine learning approaches to provide scientific evidence for improving patient outcomes. She received her PhD in Nursing Informatics from the University of Minnesota, focusing on building machine learning models to predict catheter-associated urinary tract infections using electronic health records. After earning her doctorate, Dr. Park further expanded her expertise as a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University, specializing in biomedical informatics and health data science. Through her research, Dr. Park aims to bridge the worlds of health care and data science, harnessing the vast potential of big data and AI to drive more informed and personalized decisions.
