Short Biography
Betzy Salcedo completed her medical school in Durango, Mexico where she was born and raised.
She completed her Family Medicine Residency at UCLA. After graduation, she worked for LA County in San Fernando Valley for 3 years providing care for mainly Spanish speaking/low income patients. There, she provided broad spectrum outpatient care with sessions dedicated to Pediatrics, Women's health/prenatal care, procedure clinic, and adult clinic. She has always been interested in teaching and is thrilled to be a Faculty member for the Family Medicine Department and one of the Associate Program Directors for the Family Medicine Residency Program.
