Research Abstract
As a Fellowship Director for Urogynecology Dr. Lane is dedicated to medical education. She has been a member of American Urogynecology Society (AUGS) since 2002, where she is an active reviewer of abstracts and a member of the basic science committee.

Dr. Lane's primary focus is robotic surgery and the treatment and management of pelvic organ prolapse (rectocele, cystocele and uterine prolapse) as well as treatments for urinary incontinence (slings and interstim), and anal incontinence.

Currently Dr. Lane has strong research interest in translational research and the use of stem cells for the treatment of anal incontinence.
