Research
Abstract
Dr. Hameed has been very active in research throughout her medical training. Over the last 10 years, she has spent a significant amount of her time developing her research portfolio. Her research focus has been on cardiac disease in women in general, and pregnancy in particular. She maintains current funding for four active research projects looking specifically at cardiac disease and relationship to pregnancy with an emphasis on heart failure, valvular disease, and anticoagulation in pregnancy.
