Matt Huffman's current research examines changes in access to managerial positions for women and racial minorities, and the consequences of those changes for other workers. His other recent work investigates organizational patterns of race and gender inequality and how they vary across organizations and labor market contexts. At UC Irvine, he has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Probability & Statistics, Research Design, Gender and Work, and Gender/Race Inequality.
