Research Abstract
Professor So's research focuses on the optimal allocation of resources in the design and management of production and services systems. He has studied and evaluated different operating strategies with the objective of maximizing efficiency and improving response time of the systems. His research results have generated many useful managerial insights that can save company time and money. His recent research can also help corporations select the best strategy for using price, delivery lead time and capacity expansion in a time-based competitive environment. In a latest study, he analyzes at the benefits of information sharing and replenishment coordination in a supply chain.
