Research Abstract
Professor Roeck's research centers around the improvement of medical imaging systems utilizing ionizing radiation with the specific aim to reduce patient exposure while increasing diagnostic efficiency. A fully equipped laboratory is available to provide assistance to researchers in both the scientific/clinical and industrial environment with special imaging requirements i.e. animal studies, specimen imaging and non-destructive testing of electronic components and mechanical components and fixtures. One special expertise developed in our research laboratory is in the field of micro radiography which is a little known field of great potential capable of providing vital services to academia, R and D and quality control functions of manufacturing industry.
