Research Abstract:
|
During the past ten years I have been engaged in the area of public policy and the arts as a member of the National Council on the Arts and with numerous state and local arts agencies and in these areas my primary concern has been with ethnicity and cultural diversity. In the meanwhile I continue my long term research on the analysis of complex music systems, most recently on the Turkish Ottoman Classical system.
