Academic Distinctions
Dr. Lim is a fellowship trained orthopaedic trauma surgeon. He specializes in the treatment of acute (“new”), incorrectly (malunions), and unhealed (nonunions) fractures of the extremities. Other areas of interest are fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, periprosthetic fractures, and complex peri-articular fractures
Short Biography
Dr. Lim is a California native and graduated with his Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. He then received his Doctorate of Medicine from Rutger’s University, New Jersey Medical School. He completed Orthopaedic residency at University of California, Irvine and subsequently completed his orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the University of Texas, Houston. He then returned to UC Irvine as faculty.
