Short Biography
Emily Brauer Rogers is a writer and educator from Los Angeles.

She received her Masters in Professional Writing with emphasis on dramatic writing from the University of Southern California. She's had three full length plays, Searching for Americana, Hardcore: Women’s Reflections on Iraq, and The Paper Hangers produced as well as optioned her screenplay Romeo, Juliet, and Rosaline to Amazon Studios with her writing partner, Koji Sakai.

She currently teaches writing at the University of California, Irvine as well as teaching classes for UC Online Education where she explores gamification as part of her pedagogy.
