Research Abstract
Dr. Hoyt's research interests include biobehavioral processes related to psychological adjustment and coping in the context of chronic disease and health-related adversity across the lifespan. His work seeks to understand the common pathways (e.g., psychological, behavioral, and psychobiological) related to the onset and recovery from physical illnesses, with a focus on cancer survivorship.
