Dr. Tamera Hatfield is a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist on faculty at the University of California Irvine. Her practice is at UC Irvine Medical Center but she also works as a consultant at several community hospitals. She treats high-risk pregnancies and has a particular interest in managing maternal conditions that complicate pregnancy as well as a special interest in critical care obstetrics and cancer in pregnancy. In addition to her faculty appointment at UC Irvine Medical Center, she serves as Medical Director of both the hospital laborist program and perinatal services at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange. She previously served on the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has a current appointment to a National Academy of Science, Engineeriung and Medicine committee.
