Research Abstract
Libraries and knowledge are closely connected. Like knowledge, libraries are an living organism, carrying the mission of preserving and disseminating knowledge for those who seek any aspect of the truth. Working in academic libraries has given me the privileges of staying open minded and learning as the world evolves. Contradictory to what many might think of a librarian (alas!), "the next innovation" is (let me use an absolute word that I should have probably avoided) "always" on my mind - innovations that benefit you, your friends, your coworkers, your organizations, the world, and even, maybe, the universe of which we are proudly a part.
