Research Abstract |
My research lies at the juncture of moral theory and epistemology. I write about how beliefs and moral values are developed and sustained. I also write about ethics in biomedical research. I currently have several papers in preparation or under review: a paper on the role of habituation in moral and practical learning; a paper on social scientific approaches to trust; and a paper on skepticism and doxastic voluntarism. Some of these papers are available at: webfiles.uci.edu/pnickel/www/index.htm |
