Research Abstract
Professor Dewan's primary research interests are in the area of the economics of information technology and electronic commerce. A common theme that cuts across his research is the Value of Information Technology -- understanding the mechanisms by which information technology creates value in organizations and markets. He has published his research in journals such as Management Science, Information Systems Research, Communications of the ACM and the Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, among others. He is currently a senior editor at Information Systems Research and an associate editor at Management Science.
