Research Abstract |
My research concerns the role of hydrology in the coupled Earth system. Areas of current activity include the parameterization of terrestrial hydrologic processes for Earth system models and studies of land-ocean-atmosphere interaction; satellite remote sensing of soil moisture, surface water, groundwater, terrestrial water storage, and global water balance; soil moisture variability and scaling; the contribution of continental water storage to global mean sea level rise; and global change impacts on water availability. | |
